Thru our own life experiences, we have learned that our bodies are where we live. It is therefore critically important that we take the time to improve our health with exercise & good nutrition. Our goal at Phillips Fitness is to help you achieve & maintain a healthy & strong body through customized individual & group training along with some nutritional guidance. We keep our workouts upbeat & challenging as well as ever changing to achieve each individual’s full potential. Our services range from one-on-one & in-home training to outdoor training fun & effective boot camps.

At Phillips Fitness we specialize in functional & suspension training to reach weight loss, strengthen the core & improve & maintain energy levels. We also offer nutritional consultation & guidance. Our belief is that what you put into your body is just as important as what you do with your body. Your training should not end when you are not physically exercising. What sets up apart from other personal training facilities is that we couple our training & exercise routines with information about health & wellness to achieve optimal growth & a healthy lifestyle.

The field of SUSPENSION TRAINING is a form of resistance training that includes bodyweight exercises in which a variety of multi-planar compound exercise movements can be performed. Suspension training is a superb form of functional training which maximizes strength development, stability & endurance SIMULTANEOUSLY & over time will tone & define the body. Combined with cardiovascular exercise & dedicated strength training program it offers a well-rounded complimentary routine.

I began my desire for fitness back in high school while strength training for football. At the time, my father had built a complete gym in our home & my teammates & I would spent countless hours in there perfecting our bodies. After high school football I spent a few years competing in the local & national body building scene & realizing the level of steroid abuse I soon left & went into the medical field. After 10 years of medicine I returned to what I love with an even better understanding of the body & how it works.

Now I can say that after 26 years of trial & error I have found the perfect mix of diet & exercise that not only works for me but for my clients as well. I not only instruct my clients on what to do but I also live what I preach.

Through my techniques you will reach the best shape of your life in the least amount of time.

The body & how it works & operates has always fascinated me! I began working in a small chiropractic office in Sunnyvale, CA about 10 years ago when I realized that the human body was more than what you saw on the outside. There were so many muscles, cells, tissues & organs that were working hard just to simply breathe. From there I knew that I wanted to know & learn more about our nervous system, the muscles & tissues & the organs & cells that make up our bodies.

I own & run Phillips Fitness with Troy. We specialize in functional suspension training & have trained many clients all around the Bay area including San Jose, Milpitas, Saratoga & Campbell. We both train on the straps 6 days a week & have found the perfect portable gym & are excited to share this training with you. We started training on this system a little over a year ago & have found the perfect medley of fitness combining strength training, cardio & stretching all on the straps & all in one hour per session.

Troy & I both live the lifestyle of health and fitness as well as love what we do. We absolutely love changing lives and helping others achieve their fitness goals together.
